IoT SIM Card Solution for Prolectric

When Prolectric launched their ProLight solar mobile lighting tower they had a requirement to get real time data from the mobile unit to enable remote monitoring and reporting via the Prolectric web portal.

When Prolectric launched their ProLight solar mobile lighting tower they had a requirement to get real time data from the mobile unit to enable remote monitoring and reporting via the Prolectric web portal.

Every ProLight is fitted with a micro-controller and GPS tracking unit, so it can be switched on and off remotely and key data such as power generated/consumed and light on/off settings can be monitored and recorded.

Customers are provided with real-time web portal access to Prolectric’s Remote Monitoring Service and we also provide a daily monitoring and control service to optimise the performance of each unit, as well as monthly reports of a range of performance data including carbon savings.

The Prolectric lighting towers can be located in a variety of locations from the middle of a field in the back end of nowhere to the centre of a big city the best network coverage was imperative. Roaming sims where implemented which automatically search and connect to the strongest of the big 3 networks. This has given Prolectric peace of mind and the best service possible.
